I just noticed in an online company history of the company it startes this. Jacob Baker launched his eponymous business in 1925 or 1927&mdashcounts differ--selling his shoes wholesale to mom-and-pop stores from the rear of his brother's shoe factory in Spencer, Massachusetts. Now was his brother the one that started using the baker name and he followed suit or was he still a goldstein I have no clue but will look into it but with 2 last names to look into it won't be easy to verify I have the right person, but I will go by the assumption he was born in russia the oldest child and not living with his mom in 1900 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
