We thought Colin Campbell had married Mary Ellen Davies who was Susannah's step sister we think. No wonder I couldn't find his marriage to a Mary E Davies! The photo we have says Ella & Colin Campbell. Also he moved around a bit & since I don't know the area I didn't connect him with Dedham for instance. We didn't know that Susannah had anymore siblings as we only found her on the 1871 Wales census down as step daughter, so we thought her mother had had an illegitimate child before she married Edward Davies. Now we'll have to rethink things, & certainly send for Susannah's birth cert. I can't find the mother marrying anyone named Richards before she married Edward Davies & I can't find a Sarah Ellen Richards born around where they came from. So the plot thickens! We'll solve it though! Thanks for all you've sent me it's just wonderful info. I can see I'll be here on the computer all evening now! Is there anyway we can find Colin's marriage to Sarah Ellen Richards?? It should tell us her parents' names on a marriage cert. We thought her mother was Charlotte Jones before she married & they had a dau named Charlotte so it possibly was. Well many thanks again for all the info, it's got us running in larger circles now!!
