Hi again, Out of curiousity, I just checked on-line and see that there were several generations of JONES families in Concord, MA. And, the Ephraim JONES who built the "Tavern" in Concord, MA, in 1747, might have been a son of Capt. Ephraim JONES and Mary HAYWARD. The son might have been born in 1730 and died in 1767. www.familysearch.org And researchers there have Ephraim (b1730) marrying Abigail CUTLER (b1729). (Almost thought it said CUTTER.) I'm reading they had 6 children, including a son, Ephraim JONES, b1757. If the Ephraim JONES of the Tavern did die in 1767, perhaps that is when Amos WRIGHT took over the management of the then "JONES Tavern" in Concord. .. Another look on-line and I'm seeing that there was an Ephraim JONES reportedly born in 1650 in Concord. And it says he was the son of John JONES and Dorcas (?). This John JONES seems to have a connection to both Cambridge, MA, and Hingham, MA. I'm seeing on-line that the patriarch might have been a Robert JONES arriving in 1600's and settling in Hingham. Just an FYI for you ! Betty (near Lowell, MA) THINK SPRING !!! 10 days away and counting ! :o) (Although I remember the surprise "month of May.. ICE STORM" which I think was 1977. It did a "lot" of damage to the Town of Billerica. My family was awake all night listening to all the full-grown trees in our neighborhood - dropping like flies ! We couldn't leave our property for several days (a week?) because dozens of large trees were laying across our road - from one end to the other.) (If it was 1977, that was just a year before "the Blizzard of 1978.")
