Glenn - Clement, the Fortune passenger, was born by about 1600, based upon a depostion that he gave in 1638 [PCR 12:34-35]. It is unlikely that he would have a child born in 1614 - his first known child was born 14-Jun-1633 [Weymouth VR 1:60]. John, son of Clement by his second wife, was likely born about 1647. He was named in his father's undated will, proved in 1650 [Suffolk Probate Records #101], but there is no other record of him. There is no evidence to connect John with any of the other men of the same name who later appeared in New England. > Also, John Briggs supposedly married a Hannah Fisher (b. 1624) > and among their children was a William Briggs, born 2 Apr 1646 Where was William born?
