    3. Patricia, I use the spreadsheet to hunt for problems with the database. First, I'm looking for any of the other types (birth or deaths when it is supposed to be marriages for example) listed under a volume. Then, checking for entries for the volume outside of the five year period, both before and after. Finally, then I'm looking for entries for counties not associated with the volume. You folks are needed to help find the issues with images, names, and pages. I have been fixing some of those all along, but the more you report the better. Errors in volume or year usually come in 100 to 500 entry increments. I've been trying to made a big dent in those, but seemingly every time I go through all the entries on an index page, there are still more. I'm hoping to get the errors down to just name and page numbers. Once done with these, I'll go back to requesting a spreadsheet per volume, which hopefully will catch most of the rest of the errors. Just don't ask me when that will be, my crystal ball doesn't see out that far.>g Just a reminder, if you spot a problem with a name, please email me, John, or Dale. If the name in the index is in error and it occasionally is, Sam Sturgis, database webmaster, will add a correct entry. He just can't remove an incorrect name for an entry. I would appreciate it, that if you have seen improvement in the database, that you take the time to email the webmaster at webmaster@nehgs.org to let them know their effort is appreciated. I am definitely seeing the improvement as I go through the database and, hopefully, you do also.
