I am looking for information on my great grandmother, Johanna Hurley. She was born in Tipperary County, Ireland approx. 1856. She married Michael Mahar in Ireland. I do not know when she emigrated to the U.S. She lived at 11 Stoddard St., Northampton, MA for 10 years preceding her death. She lived with her son, Michael Mahar. Johanna's obituary might be found in the Northampton papers on Sept. 1, 1918. If possible, I would appreciate having a copy of her death certificate. Also, I am looking for any information at all on her brother, William Hurley who lived on Aldrich Street in Northampton. MA. Additionally, any information on Johanna (Hurley) Mahar's children is asked for. She had the following children: Michael of Northampton, MA,John and William of Westfield, MA, Patrick of Ireland, Mrs. Levi Dayton of Florence, MA, and Mrs. Joseph Rood of Springfield, MA. Thanks.
