    3. Hello, I'm still trying to gather information on the 13 LEWIS siblings growing up in Stoneham, MA, from 1880 to 1920. One of the sons was Arthur H. LEWIS. I have him marrying in Nov. 1919 in Woburn, MA, to Philomene LeBLANC. (Her nickname was Phoebe.) The marriage record shows her parents as: Erene LeBLANC and Josephine SAUTERRE. I just checked census records, and I'm not finding this couple in MA or NH. What I did find was that many LeBLANC couples came down from Canada to work in the mills, both in NH and MA, probably from 1880 to 1900. (I'm not finding SAUTERRE at all. Nor SAUTERNE.) Arthur LEWIS was born in MA in 1892, so his wife, "Phoebe" was probably born in the 1890's. I was just wondering if anyone knows about Mr. Erene LeBLANC, probably born in the mid-1800's. I'm curious whether Phoebe was from Canada and came down alone, or came down with her family. Betty (near Lowell, MA) Remember to check the archives of all the Lists and Boards for your surnames and place-names. www.rootsweb.com FYI: http://lists.rootsweb.ancestry.com/index/usa/misc/misc.html#NEW-ENGLAND-MEMORIES
