NEHGS MVR 1841-1910 Tip 6: Boston pre-1850 For those using www.newenglandancestors.org Massachusetts Vital Records 1841-1910 on-line database, here is a tip that may make using it a bit easier. The City of Boston did not start submitting birth registers to the Vital Records office until 1848-49. There are only 7 Boston births entries listed before 1848.
