I am hoping that someone here may help me with a HUGE brick wall. My paternal grandfather was CHARLES ARCHIBALD MCDOUGALL born: 27 Apr 1890, North Sydney, Cape Breton Island Grandma's official 'story' was that he had been "lost at sea"; more likely is that he headed to the Boston area (sometime after 1916). I'd really like to find out what became of him, no matter what. His parents emigrated to Boston in 1927, and 6 of his 12 siblings emigrated between the mid 1910s and mid 1920's. If anyone has information about ANY of these folks, I will be beyond grateful. Brother James Alexander McDOUGALL (born: 1887) emigrated in 1913, and was living in Cambridge in 1917 with a wife and one child. Two sisters married two brothers and emigrated in the early 1920's Carma Rita Regis McDOUGALL - born: 1899, died: 1978, Dorchester Husband: George Wilson DOYLE - born: 1886, died: Sep 1974, Dorchester Children of Carma and George: George A DOYLE - born: Abt 1920, Canada, died: ??
