Hoping for assistance with finding information on my ancestor Josiah Read or Reed who I believe was living in the town of Montague MA from about 1801 to 1803 ~ wanting to find any information that makes reference to him e.g. town meeting records, tax records, land records, etc. Anything that might give me a clue as to where he originated from......   I believe his wife's name was Hannah but I do not have her maiden name at this time ~ his eldest son, Rodolphus Read or Reed married at Montague MA in July 1801 to Sally Hill.   Thanks for assistance, please contact me off the list with any further questions.
