    3. Hi Charles, Nice to see your name. I'm having trouble finding a Henry or Harry TOMPKINS in MA in 1900. There was one, but born in England. Oh, this might be the family: TOMPKINS, HENRY (1910 U.S. Census) MASSACHUSETTS , MIDDLESEX, 7-WD CAMBRIDGE Age: 43, Male, Race: WHITE, Born: IREL Series: T624 Roll: 597 Page: 43 He has a wife, Ester, and they had been married for 21 years, and had 8 children, 6 live, and they had 4 sons and then 2 daughters, including Harry, 18. I'm not finding this family in MA in 1920, and I can't check 1930. There are other Henry or Harry TOMPKINS in MA in 1900 to 1920, but most born in England. For instance, n 1910, I find this family, but the son, Henry, is 3. TOMPKINS, HARRY W (1910 U.S. Census) MASSACHUSETTS , NORFOLK, AVON Age: 36, Male, Race: WHITE, Born: ENGL Series: T624 Roll: 607 Page: 18 In 1920, there are Henry TOMPKINS in many other states; any possibility they moved? ** By the way, are you looking for the death of an adult (the one born 1891)? OOPS. I just noticed that Henry was born in MA. Let me look again. No, I'm not finding the correct Henry or Harry in 1920. Just a reminder that he would have been ~28, and there is probably a WW I "draft registration card" for him. Any chance he fought in the War ? A quick look shows an Edward Henry TOMPKINS in Middlesex Co., MA, in the records (I can't look at that record). Betty (near Lowell, MA) P.S. I research a Gilbert TOMPKINS but in 1700's Little Compton, RI, and Westport, MA. ----- Original Message ----- From: <jitsu@gru.net> To: <GENMASSACHUSETTS@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, December 18, 2008 11:29 AM Subject: [GENMASSACHUSETTS] Cambridge--TOMPKINS--death? > I'm looking for the death of a relative, Henry (Harry) TOMPKINS, born at > Cambridge, MA 1891.
