    1. [GENMASSACHUSETTS] HANNAH Family in MA 1860 to 1930
    2. Betty
    3. Hello, I was able to visit the Bell Rock Cemetery in Malden this week, and saw the HANNAH and KERR gravestone. This has gotten me started on trying (again) to find out more about William and Eliza HANNAH's family in MA from their arrival in 1857 (from Glasgow). I need to get away from the computer this morning, so I'll just mention briefly the names of their children. And, I'd like to ask if anyone is researching them: William HANNAH / HANNA, b1828 in Ireland (parents from Scotland; he married in Scotland) Eliza (RITCHIE), b1837 in Ireland (parents from Scotland) Mary Ann HANNAH, b1856 Scotland (poss. died on trip) Elizabeth B. HANNAH, b1857, arr. Age 3 mos. William HANNAH, b1859 MA John HANNAH, b1860 MA Isabella HANNAH, b1863 MA (d.1882) George HANNAH, b1871 (never married) Elizabeth married William KERR, and they were my great-grandparents. William married and lived in Harvard, MA, with family. John married and lived in Malden. I have found "some" information by looking at the census for 1860 to 1920. The extended families mostly stayed in the Malden and Everett area. I do not have access to the 1930 census. (This family and the related KERR family seem to have the men working in "the Chemical Works.") Off to visit the grandchildren ... Betty (near Lowell, MA) (More information on the couples is in the archives of the Lists.) (I just found out that the parents of William HANNAH lived in Bromhome Parish, Co. Donegal, Ireland, when they had him.) FYI: The parents from marriage record, etc., back in Co. Donegal (but born Scotland) were: William HANNAH and Mary Ann DOE ?? Andrew RITCHIE and Isabella YEATES ???
