    1. Re: [GENMASSACHUSETTS] 1930 census look up please
    2. the only person who contacted me about my  request wanted me to PAY to do the research for me.  I didn't know this list allowed people to solicit for money? All the other lists I am on, do these look ups to help, not profit from it.  What gives? I also cant' find him in Ellis Island records, but can't find any free records for Boston passengers.  Does anyone know where I can look for that?  I would love to be able to give this elderly person a copy of his father's immigration records, even if it's just the ships passenger list. 3. As long as the offer was made off list, there is no problem with it. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: "Massachusetts" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, November 10, 2011 9:12 AM Subject: Re: [GENMASSACHUSETTS] 1930 census look up please > > > the only person who contacted me about my request wanted me to PAY to do the research for me.
