Author: juliamc31 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.massachusetts.unknown/7533.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi sorry about the delay in getting back to you, she said that when her father died in 1929 that the family were thrown out onto the road as the house came with her fathers job, an aunt of my granmother possibly a tobin, took her sister to america so i think that this would have happened around 1930. unfortunely i cant find her birth cert and at the moment im stuck. my grandmother had a brother thomas who died in the industrial school aged 6, she also had another brother called john who she said died of TB, my granmother stayed with her mother.
