This is the most likely birth record 1838 Apr-June Dewsbury Volume 22 page 41. These are my only notes on "your" George 1861 found a George BERRY birthplace Heckmondwike living in Carr Street Batley Yorkshire. Has a wife Martha and 2 children Ann 22yrs and George W 16yrs, Occupation Woolen Manufacturer employing 2 men. George W is said to have been born in the United States of America circa 1846 but the daughter Ann was born in Heckmondwike in 1839.
