    3. If you go to https://familysearch.org/ and choose "USA, Canada and Mexico" you can scroll down to "Massachusetts, State Vital Records, 1841-1920." This is basically 1916-1920 records, not indexed but users can browse through them. But -- how do you find the town you want? Choosing "Browse" and then "Births" gets a list of volumes, mostly 1918 with town names. I'm looking for records for Sharon. I tried "Births, 1918, vol. 0116, Salem-Sus" but these are almost all from Salem plus a few from Lynn (huh?). The next is "Births, 1918, vol. 0117, Sus-Shrewsbury." I looked at every 50th page and found records from Saugus, then Lynn again, then Newton, then (page 248) finally Sharon. There was even a record from Providence, RI. Is the list of volumes really supposed to be in order of towns? If so, I hope the other volumes are better than these. "Learn more" only gives information like what's on a birth record, not how they are organized. Good luck to everyone who tries to use these!
