Boston Herald dated 7 Feb 1907 (pub. Feb. 8) TOOK DOCTORS ADVICE Former Foxboro Inmate tells how he escaped the place -- Attleboro - There was a special unexpected local connection with Foxboro Hospital Investigation today when Frank N. Peart was arraigned on charge of drunkenness and uttering threats. He pleaded guilty to the former charge but not the latter. The officer said he went to the house, after being called there by the statement that a woman was in danger. Peart was absent from the house. He returned there while the officer was there and pulling from his pocket a hammer which he brandished over the head of his wife. He was fined $5 for drunkenness and held in $200 to keep the peace. Peart has been an inmate of the state hospital at Foxboro. While his case was in progress today, he stated he escaped from the place while following the advice of one of the Doctors there. He says he asked the physician the "easiest way to get out of the place" and was informed there were fours ways, "one to the north","another to the south", "a third to the west", and "a fourth to the east".
