So, if anyone is interested, I can provide more details. Plus, I have just found out this week what happened to John's father, Michael Albert FITZGERALD, born 1882 in Boston. After his divorce to Ella (BLAKLEY) maybe around 1915, he became estranged from her and their 2 sons. I cannot find him in census from 1920 on. But he might have lived in Boston with a new wife in 1930's or 1940's. After that, no one had information on Michael. Because it is a common name, I had trouble finding out which Michael was him. But I found out this week that Michael was the one who died in Bourne, MA, in 1971. I don't know how long he and his 2nd wife lived there. And, I found out that his 2nd wife was Mrs. Frances (DANE) FITZGERALD. She died in Bourne in 1999. I contacted the Bourne Library and they found her obituary but cannot find his. Even though Frances was about 30 yrs. younger than her husband, it appears that they did not have children. Betty (near Lowell, MA) (I have figured out the problem with my not being able to post to the Lists from my Comcast e-mail address. It has something to do with the Spam Filter which RootsWeb uses. And, it is now over one year that I have not been able to post from Comcast. So, I subscribed with my Yahoo e-mail address to 30 or 40 of the Lists.) (I can receive all the Digests with no problem.) (on Lists for 10 yrs.; now an Admin for 9 Lists) (One FYI is that, so far, I don't know if the divorced lady, Mrs. Ella (BLAKELY) FITZGERALD, officially married her 2nd husband, Thomas "Jack" KELLEY. They were living together in 1920 in Cambridge, and had children together.) (Another FYI is that there seems to have been at least 3 FITZGERALD, extended families living in Downtown Boston in the very early 1900's. And they each lived in a different neighborhood, so they were probably not directly related. And, the above Fitzgerald's probably came from County Cork, and the "Honey Fitz" Fitzgerald's came from County Limerick. I don't know which county the 3rd family came from.)
