One thing I was reminded of is this site. It has a new URL so you need to make note of it: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~azrwgw/ And, I was reminded that you can look at some Azorean records at your local LDS Center. Perhaps my husband and I will go visit the one in Nashua this month and see what we can look at. I think it was last year when a researcher said there is a way to search for an ancestor on ships to MA. But, I'm not finding that posting, yet. I'm remembering that it was very time-consuming to search those records. Oh, just noticed this statement on the above web site. It was searching the "passports" for people leaving on ships from the City of Ponta Delgada which was very time-consuming: The Centro de Conhecimento dos Azores (CCA) is in the process of digitizing Azorean records. Currently, the passports for Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel are up. Also on the AzoresGenWeb site is where you can place a Query, which I just did. And, you can search the Queries to see if anyone else is interested in your surnames. That's all I'll say for now.
