I'm in the process of researching Manoel/Manuel NUNES who was born somewhere between 1867 to 1869 in The Azores and came to America sometime between 1887 to 1891.  I've been unable to locate him on any passenger lists and there have been family rumors of Azorean ancestors working as fishermen before coming to America.  If he arrived in America, via a fishing boat or as a mariner, I don't know which port he could have arrived in nor do I know the name of his ship.  He settled in Fall River, Massachusetts, married twice, and lived the rest of his life there.
