Ship Celtic Arr 24 April 1903 NY. Going to sister Mrs Long @ 63 Diamond St, Brooklyn NY No 1 is interesting as the year 1898 I dont think David Long & Mary would have married this year as he emigrated in 1898. Strangely both David & Mary were baptised in the same church in Ireland so it seems they may have known each others families prior to emigration. No marriage record in ireland for them. Did see some birth records 1. James Long 23 Jan 1900 NY James Long 31/12/1901 NY. Thomas Long 3rd March 1902 NY. Unfortunately this is all the record gives on Ancestry - do you have any source to check further. David & Marys 2 sons James called after davids father & Thomas after Marys father. It is possible that Mary Mintern (diff variations of name spelling) minturn, in Flushing in 1898 would not have been married I think at this stage. Would there be any directory for this time?
