Have used the vital records in the area and traced the generations back from William and Mary. The Rowley Public Library was very helpful sending me information that for generations the Rutherfords lived at the Muddy River Farm of Humphrey Bradstreet. Found the census' very helpful as my Grandmother's birth was not recorded in Ipswich, so I found her in the census at 5 years old. It is just William and Mary, I do not have a clue.
