I don't know where you found the birth entries you cited (I presume somewhere online), but it looks as though the person who indexed them did not understand that. The entries are taken from BRC21, where there is no index entry for "Tertius" and those entries are indexed as "Capen" - " A Report of the Record Commissioners of the City of Boston, Containing Dorchester Births, Marriages, and Deaths to the End of 1825" (Boston: Rockwell and Churchill, 1890; Second Impression 1891).
