Good Morning My gr gr gr grandfather was Elisha Smith, born in Massachusetts - possibly Worcester - on May 14, 1776 if my calculations from his death date and age at death are correct. He was a captian in the War of 1812. He eventually moved to Tuftonboro NH, where he lived out his life. He married someone named Sarah, and they had a son Isaac D. in about 1820. I don't know if they had any other children or not. I once received a lead to an Elisha in Worcester but, as he was born in November 1776 I think he may not be the correct one. It seems there may have been two born there that year, as according to the 1840 census there was one in Worcester and one in Tuftonboro. I am trying to either confirm he was from Worcester or find out from where he was, who his parents were, and who Sarah might have been. thanks in advance faye
