Hello, I just went to find the web site for the library in Pepperell, and, when I found it, I saw that it has a "history & genealogy room." But the page for that includes a list of the surnames where people have sumitted a "family-history report." http://www.lawrencelibrary.org/generalinfo/historyandgenealogy.htm http://www.lawrencelibrary.org/generalinfo/artgallery.htm (There will be a model-train exhibit next week !) http://www.town.pepperell.ma.us/ http://www.town.pepperell.ma.us/historical/PepperellHistory.html That page mentions the "history of Middlesex County." I wonder how many of you have looked at that book (series of books?). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pepperell,_Massachusetts Just an FYI for you. Betty (near Lowell, MA) (A good "Sunday drive" for someone in the area is to drive on Rt. 119 from Littleton to Ashby - where you drive through Groton, Pepperell, and Townsend, also. "Farm stands" are there for you to enjoy, and a State Park, and some -- farms !)
