The left Clannville, Newfoundland, on 10/5/1901, arriving in the US in 1901 (via railroad), and remained there. He became a US citizen on 1909. They lived in Cambridge and Somerville, MA (1930). His children were: Margaret LANE (b. ~ 1906) Alice LANE (b. ~1908) Esther C. LANE (b. 1909) (m. Robert A. CROWLEY) William LANE (b. ~1911) Francis R.
