I'm trying to locate some census listings. for 1920 and 1930. I did what I could with HeritageQuest, but the index is terribly inadequite and i'm not having much luck. Nicolo (or Nicola, maybe even Nicholas/Nicolas) INCHIERCA (pronounced Inky-Er-Ka). I found what may be immigration record, listed as INCHIERCHIERI. He married Anna PALERMO, likely before 1919, when a child was born, Raymond (or Raymondo, or variant spellings). Nicolo was from Sicily, Italy, born before 1904. Possibly early 1890s, if that immigration record is indeed his. Anna was born in Palermo, Italy (yes, like her last name), again, before 1904. They may also have had a daughter named Lillian that was born in 1928, though I haven't confirmed it yet. I don't yet know of any other children. They arrived in New York, but came to Boston shortly after. Raymond was born 1919 in Massachusetts, so they were here by then. They were likely living in the Boston area, though maybe in Somerville area as well. I was hoping someone with access to a better index, could help me out. If found, I'd love a copy of the census image, but will settle for the transcription.
