The census has them living with stepfather Joseph Carpenter and mother Clara in Central Falls, Providence, Rhode Island. census records has mother Clara stating place of birth as Canada. For Priscilla and Blanche Roy it shows father's place of birth to be Conn. and mother Canada. All that is listed for place of birth of the sisters is Mass. No counties. Priscilla was born about 1911 and Blanche about 1913. I think she first married a Roy, then a Henault, and last Carpenter. I found court records for a name change on Mother Clara. She was originally given the name of Catherine Smith at the foundling home and year of birth give to be about 1878. She was adopted at age 4 and her name was changed to Clara Marie Hamilton on July 3, 1882 in Essex County, Mass. Clara is a dead end line.
