I have been searching for a connection to a HOLE/HOEL/HOOLE family for Charles HOLE b c 1700. He resided in Southold, Long Is., Suffolk Co., NY, in 1727 when he was shown as executor of an estate. Chas. was in Essex Co, NJ by 1732. He may also have lived in Flushing, NY, but most of their records have been destroyed. A John HOLE came to New England in 1638 but settled in York, ME. There is a Thomas HOOLE in Boston in 1665. Unknown origin. Any info on any HOLE family appreciated.
