    3. Thanks for the good news Betty about the farm's addition to the National Park site - if I remember correctly, and am thinking of the right place, there is (or at least was) a pane of glass in the house with a hole from a bullet in it there. If people who enjoyed Little Women and other Alcott books should visit Minuteman Park the Louisa May Alcott house is not far and a nice place to see. The whole area is beautiful and full not only of Revolutionary historic sites, but literary ones as well. faye ---- Betty <bbffrrpp@comcast.net> wrote: > Hello, > > I tried to find some web sites which tell about the "historic sites" in > Concord, and, when I Googled, I found this newspaper page from January. > It talks about the BARRETT Farm: > > http://www.wickedlocal.com/concord/archive/x1943021720/Senate-passes-bill-to-add-Barretts-Farm-to-Minuteman-Park > > During the past winter, I think I saw an episode on "History Detectives" > which talked about a "cannon" at a farm in Concord.
