He drowned in Boston Harbor when the boat he was on was overturned by the wake of a larger boat on 7/6/1919. His name was John William (Willy) Webber. The info I have is not correct, because the story went that he was 18 when he died, but the DOB I have is 6/5/1905. I was also told that he has a memorial at Glenwood Cemetary in Everette, but Find a Grave has no record. His father was Edgar Webber and his mother was a Matthews? I am looking for more info on his parents as well. An obit or newspaper article on the incident would be very helpful. Thanks for any help you can give. Contact the City/Town Clerk & check. Links to official city/town websites are available through http://www.mass.gov/portal/government-taxes/local/cities-towns/cities-and-towns.html Just from stillbirths I've seen in MA, I've sometimes seen them reported with a birth record, & sometimes with a death record, but I've yet to find an individual stillbirth with both a birth & death record. (I hope that makes sense). Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. They don't have any commentary about these records. Has anyone tried ordering either birth or death records from them for a stillbirth? If you did, was it as a birth or death record? Both infants had first names so I'm thinking there should at least be a birth record showing the names, but I'm not so sure about the death records (these may not have the first names). Since the two were about a year apart, I don't know which one was which, hence my want for the records. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Sullivan & Mary E. Brown. Dennis, b. 1881 in Ireland, & Mary, b. 1877 in Nova Scotia, married in 1901 in Quincy. They had 5 children, 2 of which died young. The other 3 were: Florence b. 1904, Margaret b. ca. 1905, & Daniel b. 1909. Dennis & Mary ultimately did not stay together. Mary ended up in Somerville w/the kids, & Dennis lived in Quincy w/siblings. Mary is on the 1920 census in Somerville w/the kids. She died later that year in Quincy. I'm not sure what happened to the children after that. They did not go w/their father, who d. ca. 1937 in Quincy, or his side of the family. Perhaps they went to live w/Mary's side of the family? (Mary was the daughter of Daniel Brown & Florence McDonald). My grandmother, who was their cousin, believes that they lived possibly in Reading or Stoneham. Does anyone know what happened to them? I did find someone with the same name there at the hospital by looking at the census, but I need some kind of verification, that it is the same person I am looking for Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. From: seanroche1@hotmail.comTo: irl-monaghan@rootsweb.com Subject: Help with tracing your Monaghan roots Date: Tue, 5 Feb 2013 13:22:49 +0000 hi, I hope this is not breaking any list protocol rules, but for those trying to trace family in Monaghan it is an opportunity not to be missed. As part of The Gathering initiative, the County Monaghan Fund people have gone that extra mile to help people find their family roots. Simply go to the following Website, click on the "Registration Form" link and fill in the form with as many details as possible. www.countymonaghanfund.com I was sent photos of my g-g-Grandparents and some of my g-g-Grandmothers siblings, and a second cousin. They have offered to photograph the family homes of the three Monaghan families I am related to. I may have been lucky but imo it is well worth 10 minutes of your time to fill in the form. Regards, SEAN

It does list Frank's widow as Helen Moynihan. I tracked down their son Frank's death in Florida. He lists his mother as Ellen Moynihan. I'm now working on the other son John who was listed as the informant on Frank's death certificate. The last I can locate him is at the Charlestown Navy Yard the year his father died (1952). The last I have of their daughter was in New York in the 1940 census. I am trying to determine if any of them had children and hope that I can add to my tree and have another Ryan/Moynihan doing some research. I did have a Moynihan contact me as Helen and this woman's family would have shared a great grandfather. As frustrating as this can be at times, I certainly enjoy the research and locating original documents. I feel like I know many of these folks despite the generational differences. Take care.
