The passenger listings shows she was aged abt 27, going to a cousin, James Coyle, living 54 East Cottage St Roxbury Boston Massachusetts. Agnes was born in Derry (Nth Ireland) and her father was Charles Deniece (again various spellings) Can anyone help me find out what happened next? Hello, I think I posted a few days ago about the MEDEIROS family I'm helping a relative with. I first started researching in 2005, but stopped after a while. I kept thinking that I had found the names of the children of Philip and Mary (MIRANDA) MEDEIROS. It was just this morning I found my old posting at http://www.genforum.com/ The 1900 census had: Mrs. Mary MEDEIROS, b1859 Portugal, 40, as a widow (mig. ~1889) with her were children: Maria, b1879 Christina, b1882 Edward, b1888 Aruba, b1890 Manual, b1891 Frank, b1895 She should have had 2 older children, and I found one had married, Mrs. Elizabeth (MEDEIROS) JESSE, b1874. So, there might have been another son or daughter, b~1876. I'm not sure they were all still alive in 1920. Possibly some of the older sons fought in WW I. Does anyone know if the older daughters, Maria and Christina MEDEIROS married? By the way, the 1910 census showed that Mary's sister, Alice MIRANDA, 29 and single, was living with her. That's all for this morning. I'll do more searching during the week. I hope everyone enjoys their .. religious .. holidays this week and next week. Betty (near Lowell, MA) P.S. Just a reminder that, if you post something on the Message Boards to make sure you click on "Alerts" so that you can find out if someone is responding to your post.

There was one in No. Easton, (where I used to live) but it didn't fit him. I am going to check out Manitoba. I do believe his parents were James and Mary. Now we are looking for his and Mary's death. I do have the 1920,30 and 40 census for them. His family did immigrant in 1894 so he was just a babe. I do thank you for this and Swansea isn't that far from Attleboro and neither is Warren, Rhode Island where Celia was born and in her obit spent a lot of her childhood there. I have to second Richard Trask, especially if you are interested in the Salem Witchscare and colonial times. Richard is an expert on the trials and one of the founders of the Danvers (Ma) alarm list (revolutionary fighting unit). It really depends on what you seek... what towns from which your ancestors might have come. If you are interested in Beverly, one of the first towns to break away from Salem, theres a lot of information, and an awesome volunteer named Dan Driscoll, at the city clerk's office. If you do have specific towns in mind you might want to write to the reference librarian in advance. Faye ---- Abigail Lumsden <alumsden1@maine.rr.com> wrote: > There are many.
