    1. [GENMASSACHUSETTS] TAG Vol. 84 No. 1
    2. Dale H. Cook
    3. My "Consolidated Contents of The American Genealogist" ( see http://plymouthcolony.net/resources/periodicals.html#tag ) is nearly up to the present, but I have hit a snag. Two libraries in my area have TAG, but both are missing Vol. 84 No. 1 (January, 2010). If anyone has access to that volume and could send me a scan of the cover, which lists the contents, I would greatly appreciate it. Dale H. Abstracts of some early probate records have been published in genealogical journals or in books. Those which are in the public domain are usually available online. For a guide to published Massachusetts probate records and indices, see: http://plymouthcolony.net/resources/probate.html As a rule you will have to rent LDS film to find probate records. As is generally true in genealogical research, the most important resources are not online. Dale H. Cook, Member, NEHGS and MA Society of Mayflower Descendants; Plymouth Co. Amanda Andersdotter or Andersson is my grandmothers aunt and the son Henry and his sister Hilda must be cousins to my grand mother. AmandaĊ½s fathers name was Anders Petter Carlsson and the mothers name was Gustafa Gustavsdotter. In the US census from 1920 I can find Andrew, but in 1930 US census Andrew is not noticed. Amanda has a note as widow. They lived at New Bedford Ward 3 Bristol. Best Regards Lennart Norlin Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
