I found a Frank Peart on the 1910 Census in Salem, MA - can't look at original record but info is that he is 47 born in MA father born RI - 1900 Census age is about right but that Frank Peart says he was born in NH father born in RI. So the Frank is probably her father - like I said I can't see original image. I have also seen census info where the census taker has put down the 1st person - 'head of household' and then when adding other members instead of writing down the last name, has just drawn a line to indicate that it is the same name. My g grandmother was living with her son-in-law on one of the census so her last name should have been different than his and it wasn't. Still looking for Anna's birth. Anna's parents (going by marriage cert) are Frank Sheehan and Margaret Peart. I dont know where the name Peart came from. As Margaret was Clifford before she married Daniel Sheehan in 1884. Anna was living with parents Frank & Margaret in 1900 and in 1910 she was living with Margaret her mother (widow). The census are totally confusing. As in 1900 Margaret was born in Scotland. In 1910 she was born in Ireland. When Margaret remarried in 1915 to James Peckham she stated her name was Margaret SHEAN, Father James Clifford. So I know I have the right women. in US City Directories MA Attleboro 1890-91 it states that Frank Peart (removed from Town)???? Thankyou for any help you can offer Margaret. I am totally at a loss. I also have a cousin that was born Richard Francis but his death certificate is Francis Richard!! I'm trying now to find Anna's birth in Charlestown - that's where she says she was born(marriage cert) parents are either Daniel Sheehan and Margaret or Frank Sheehan and Margaret - right?? When you found Margaret and Anna living with a Frank Peart - is that Margaret's father?????is Margaret a widow? Margaret Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Hopefully it will make sense to someone. I have a Anna K Quinn living in Providence RI with her (stepmum) Margaret Peckham and Anna's Husband Joseph Quinn and 3 children. Now when looking for Anna marriage in 1912 she states her parents where Frank Sheehan & Margaret Peart. She also says she was born in 1887 Massachusetts, but I cant find a birth record for her. Now here comes the difficult bit. The Margaret she was living with in 1920 was born in Ireland. She first married Daniel SHEEHAN in 1884 in Boston MA. Then she married James Peckham in 1915 in Boston MA. James died in 1919 RI. going by the info I learned from Anna's marriage, I decided to look for her in census (as I couldnt find Anna or Margaret before 1920) I found a Margaret Peart living with Frank Peart and daughter Anna K Peart in Attleborough MA. I know these are of the same family. But could someone tell why the name change.??? I couldnt find a marriage for Frank Sheehan to Margaret/or Frank Peart to Margaret... Can anyone shed any light???? Have you GOOGLED for the Cemtery? The operators may have a web site. Also look for it on FindaGrave.com. Volunteers list and photo some items and often provide search services. Check the FindaGrave site for that particular cem. theclown16

Hi Barb and all, Fair question. The efficient way to get answers is often to google it. Try "St. Peter Parish" and see.
