Hi, I was cleaning out an old car for sale and came across a photograph album which has a load of old photographs. The album is in bad condition but the photographs are mostly ok. The car originally came from County Cork. A few photographs have writing on the back of them. This is whats on them. The first photograph is a wedding, and on the back is written, Mrs J. Ahern 8 Bishop Street, Cork. Next one is 3 men in a boat and on the back is C/O of Pearce, 3 Reynolds ?. St. ?. Davenport. Next one has "Taken in Dublin at the Congress 1932." Next one which looks like 5 nurses has on the back "What do you think of me mother, Love Flo." 5/3/1938 Willie and Flo taken on holiday in Dublin 10th August 1936 Two army guys with "Love to Flo from Jackie" on the back of it Another one of 3 men and on the back "Panama Canal 1928". Another one with "Taken on a picnic in June 1930". And the last one with writing on it has a picture of a woman with three little boys, and written on that is "Kitty, Baby Jim, Bobo O'Brien and Bill Horgan". There are lots more photograph's including a first communion photo of a little girl, taken I would imagine in the 1930's. I have no interest in this Album but would like to return it to its tightful owner. I also don't now if this is the right place to post this. if not could someone let me know. Greeting from Western Australia May I suggest that you check the previous owners of the Vehicle (ownership papers or Registration papers of the car) this may give a lead to whom to contact about the photo Album..
