A problem with viewing the Cancelled Books, as they are called, on microfilm is that they are in black and white. The originals, which can be viewed only at the Valuation Office in Dublin, are marked up in color and it is very hard to follow even when different transfers are each written in a different colored ink. Without the color ink to track data it is likely to be confusing and subject to misinterpretaion. -dja
