Johnstown is the name of the Roman Catholic parish and whilst it is supposed to cover the parishes of Eirke and Fertagh it also includes records for 'Galmoy' - even though Galmoy is a Roman Catholic parish of itself with records predating Johnstown. Johnstown also includes records for Rathlogan or Ralogan which I am taking to being Rathlogan................ There's a Rathlogan townland in the Civil parish of Glashare...............another parish that is divided between the two counties (Eirke the same), so I'm taking this Ralogan to be in Glashare and nothing to do with the civil parish of Rathlogan in Kilkenny.
