If you have then you ought to have other siblings of Bernard's and the birth records will tell you when and where the parents married. You will have found death records as well plus there are the census records. Once you have established when the parents married you will then need to look at the Irish RG Index's of Birth, Marriage and Deaths these will take you back to 1864 in most cases pre that you will need parish records and these you need luck with.
