Mary, The tithe defaulters only list those people who didn't pay the tithes. There is also a Tithe listing all the head of households taken approx 1824 which also shows how much land they had. Its on the same lines as Griffiths Valuation except one of them is in Irish acres and the other in English acres. If I remember rightly part of Shanrahan is in the Waterford listing.
