I wonder if anyne can help or suggest how I should go about researching the birth of my wife's g grandfather in Dublin. I have just discovered his death in Victoria, Australia and this gave his parents and place of birth. Here is what I know of the man: Patrick WOODS a Roman Catholic, born Dublin c1838, father Andrew a farmer, mother Ann (surname unknown) Is this pie in the sky stuff or is there a chance I may be able to find his birth?
