Cheers All, Trying desperatley to locate James Rutherford.James was the father of James Smyth Rutherford born 1842 in Belfast Ireland (according to death certificate) married Catherine Totton 1862 St Anne's Church of Ireland, Belfast.The witnesses to James And Catherine Tottons marriage were: Joseph Lindsay for James and Mary Anne Green for Catherine. Catherine's father James, a servant, attended. Catherine is listed as a Weaver. James as a Paver and his father as a Carpenter. James continued this occupation in Australia as did my father Joseph, his son to his marriage to Catherine Shaw in Aust.They were both members of the Church of Ireland. Family lore tells me the family came from Scotland. Haven't done much researching in Ireland and would appreciate any help. Xmas wishes to all, Wal
