I am trying to locate details for John Donegan born circa 1809 in Charleville, Co. Cork Details I have so far as - 1 child - William Enlisted in Limerick on 24th April 1827 aged 19 years. Embarked on the Thomas Grenville ship on the 13th June 1827. Landed in Bengal on the 7th November 1827. Bombardier 1st company 1st Battalion. Artillery 1834. Invalided to Chunar on 29th September 1847. Died at Chunar 7th February 1859 aged 50 years. (Bengal European Soldiers 1793-1839, embarkation lists 1825-39. Bengal Muster Rolls 1834-59).
