What information other than names of bride and groom might I find on a Church Marriage record in 1755 Limerick? I already know the names of the parties: Gaetano RIALI married Christiana McCARTER 1755. Before I spend 5 euro(?) purchasing a copy I want to find out if I will gain something by it! Gaetano RIALI has proven stubbornly elusive. He later married Elisabeth RIORDAN (not sure where or when - my papers are packed away and it's way too late in the evening!) and I cannot find when he died or where he came frrom. Family story has that he was an Italian envoy. But I have no basis for that. His children variously spell the surname REALI, REALE, RIALI It would appear the families moved away form Limerick as descendants show up in places heading down towards Fermoy, and Cashel.
