    1. Re: St Patricks church, Waterford
    2. You're correct ... a search of the Church of Ireland (COI) website reveals that Waterford has four churches, namely Christ Church Cathedral, St Andrews in Dunmore East, Christ Church in Tramore, and St John the Baptist in Annestown. Waterford is part of the United Diocese of Cashel & Ossory, which includes cathedrals in Ferns, Lismore, Cashel, Kilkenny and Leighlin. The Waterford cathedral group is by far the smallest. The link http://synod.ireland.anglican.org/2000/reports/rtf/RB%20-%20App%20A%20(Library)%202000.rtf?takes you to a report in 2000 listing archived parish records, which included "Waterford-St Patrick: regs, vestry bks, reg of vestrymen, accounts, preachers' bks, banns, 1721-1966" ... so it appears there was a St Patricks in Waterford up until 1966. The link www.nationalarchives.ie/PDF/CofIMicrofilms.pdf?is a list of microfilmed parish registers in the natl archives, which includes films MFCI 10 & MFCI 12 (St Patrick - Waterford) If St Patricks-Waterford was de-commissioned or merged into another parish, you should contact the diocesan office for more information.
