Looking for: I know both Adolphe Regis Guttin and a priest, Father Granottier went back and forth to France -- perhaps fairly often so a number of ships are going to be involved. However I am trying to find the first trip that my grandfather came over to Canada and established himself as a tailor in Owen Sound, Ontario. Likely around 1870 or before. I know I saw F. X. Granottier listed several times as a passenger on Ancestry at the library. But can't ever find Adolphe Regis Guttin' trips. He likely went to Europe (I bet just France) for fabrics, for instance. It would be nice to know the ship and the first time, if possible.
