Thank you Bill. But my question relates to what can be obtained by printing off a search result on the pilot BMD section at FHLC compared to getting a photocopy/certificate from the GRO in Ireland. In terms of a Dublin death registration the latter will provide details of who registered the death, which often tells you their relationship with the deceased. The former does not. From the earlier postings it looked like the writer was referring to some new service at the FHLC which could provide certificates/photocopies of certificates, not just results of the pilot BMD search. At least that's clarified.
