Transcribed from the 10 January 1793 edition of the Calcutta Gazette, by permission of The British Library: The disturbances in the county of Louth in Ireland, are entirely suppressed by the very laudable zeal and activity of the gentlemen of the country, among whom the Right Hon. the Speaker eminently distinguished himself; an association, headed by him, and aided by two troops of horse, compleatly scoured the country, and have apprehended the most riotous among the insurgents, who are secured, and now await the sentence of their country. ======================
