Texting Banned While Driving Sept. 26, 2008 OMG! I don't believe it. Our Governor in California has banned Texting on cell phones while driving.. How am I going to keep up with my BFF. (Best Friend Forever) <laughing. How funny we have to have a law to tell us that. It's like saying don't field dress a deer while driving, or don't drive if you are blind .I have seen people reading a map, putting on makeup, dressing, kissing their dog, and eating a hamburger while driving. But texting? wouldn't everyone already know that??? I guess not, some kids today say they can text without even looking at the phone. I just learned how to use the cellphone while driving and they took that away from me, thank god for the speaker phone part of it. I know, I know, I can't hold it in my hand while the speaker phone is on. I lay it on the seat. I couldn't text if the car was in the driveway and I was the passenger.
