    3. Hi all- my cousins and I are looking for information regarding Joshua Stroud Fletcher, born 1785 in Delaware, died 1825, we believe in New Orleans, as his entry on the War of 1812 Pension indicates he died either in PA, or NO, and we have found no record of his death or burial in PA. he was married to: Eliza Evans born 1785 in PA, died in 1876, in Philadelphia, buried in family vault in Lafayette Cemetery(no longer exists). Their children were: Joshua  Stroud Fletcher James Washington Fletcher Benjamin Evans Fletcher Mary Ann Fletcher we have a lot of info regarding Joshua's and Eliza children, and their grandchildren, and we can trace Eliza's family back to Wales in the 1600s, but we aren't sure about Joshua's parents. We believe them to be Samuel and Elizabeth Stroud Fletcher, and we believe that Samuel was born in England, and he and three brothers went to  MA in the late 1700s, Samuel went to Delaware and started a plantation, but we arent certain, we cant find records of Joshua other than War of 1812 records. according to the War of 1812 pension info he and Eliza married in 1806, but we cant find a record of it.
