McClellan, 84, of Winfield, W.Va., departed this life at Thomas Memorial Hospital on Friday, April 30, 2004, to be with our Lord. Catherine is survived by her best friend and husband, Howard McClellan. On Feb. 10, 2004, they celebrated 65 years of marriage. She was a member of Judson Baptist Church, Winfield, W.Va. She is survived by his sons, Howard Lee McClellan and his wife, Sharon of Mount Alto, W.Va., Jim McClellan and his wife, Timi of Cottageville, W.Va.; her daughter, Janet Meadows and her husband, Fred of Winfield; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Todd McClellan. Also surviving are her sisters, Virginia Saginaw of Scott Depot, W.Va., Mildred Major of South Point, Ohio, and Edna Davis of Hurricane, W.Va. In honoring Catherine's wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2004, at Jackson County Memorial Gardens, Cottageville with the Rev. Fred McCallister officiating.
